Michael Belhadi

Born in 1963 and raised in Paderborn, Germany, I lived in Bavaria before moving to Berlin 14 years ago.
My passion for photography began at age 20 during my alternative military service post at a hospital where the chief physician selected me to take pictures of surgeries for his medical publications. My experience there has profoundly influenced my photography to this day. I take the same approach, capturing the essence and beauty of a scene in a neutral and objective manner. Only today my subjects are urban landscapes and spaces with geometric compositions, often shown through unusual perspectives. My primary focus is Berlin, yet my portfolio extends to cities and destinations throughout Europe and Asia.
